What I Want Is
By T.L. Sams

What I want is
Enough silence

To do what I want
What I want is

To rest my head
And sleep soundly

To sleep soundly
With darkness

On my cloud
Every breath I take

And the beat of my heart
Both in perfect synch

On my cloud
In the softness

Of solitude
On the cloth cloud

In the calming storm
That is life and man

Drifting alike
As I count

My restless sheep
Sheep 1 Sheep 2….

Messy Room poem
By Tyler Sams

Whosever room this is should be enraged
His underwear is hanging on the door
His pillows are there on the electronic chair
And the chair is fun and definitely not a bore
His cards have been shoved in his books
A big plate collected some mold
His fan and one game are definitely not lame
And his dry shirt by the vent has become so cold
His toys are all jammed in the closet
His clothes have been left in the hall
A kitten named dollie that meows like a trolly
And his thousand piece puzzle’s been pinned to the wall
Whosever room this should be enraged
Paula or Donnie or willis
Say what? You think it’s mine, Oh man

Would you look at that it is

A boy came to my house
But did not know I’m home
He broke my most favorite toy
And blamed it on the gnome

And then he rode on home
On a convenient bike
Through the yard of my neighbors house
To avoid his dads big nicke (knife)

Go Team
By Tyler Sams

Colorguard is so much fun
We never ever want to be done
We will do our angel wings and a bunch of twirly things
And a bunch of other tricks that we know Whoosh, whoosh
Stand firm and be proud of colorguard we’re better that football that we are
Our leaders a big senior for we are no meaner and we know we’ll do our best
G-O-T-E-A-M, Go Team!

The scenery was great
I almost crashed my bike
I veered and swerved but fixed myself
And almost hit a tike

We stopped for pizza next
With that I could not stop
I went so fast down the long trail
And fell when drinking pop

We got back from the trail
My legs oh man they hurt
I had an ice cream malt and froze
How muddy was my shirt?

The fog arises
On i
nvisible arches

It creeps along
Shadowing everything
In its path
Than fades away
